Epygi Technologies' Kelly Carden Recognized by CRN as One of the Top Women of the Channel Plano, TX (June 24, 2013) - Epygi Technologies announced today that Kelly Carden, Director, Global Channel Sales and Marketing, has been recognized by UBM Tech Channel's CRN as one of the top Women of the Channel. CRN's annual list recognizes nearly 300 female executives across vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers for their accomplishments over the past year, and the far-reaching impact they are having on the technology industry going forward. This year's Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. These women represent a changing trend in a traditionally male dominated industry. "We honor and congratulate this list of influential women who are dedicated to supporting the mission of the channel," said Robert Faletra, CEO, UBM Tech Channel. "For years, we have identified and celebrated the women who have made an indelible mark on the technology industry through unmatched innovation and razor focus on meeting the needs of the IT channel community." In 2012, not only was Kelly promoted to Director of Global Channel Sales and Marketing, but also implemented innovative marketing strategies for Epygi's newest IP PBX and gateway products. These strategies assisted in growing Epygi's reseller base business with their SMB and SME customers. These recently released products are now the company's best-selling products within their first year. In 2013, Kelly has been working to implement a new brand image for Epygi as they launch new products outside of their core PBXs and gateways, along with an entire website redesign. Kelly has been working for Epygi Technologies in the telecommunications market for the past five years. This is her third year in a row as a CRN's Women of the Channel recipient. Her previous professional experience includes being an Executive Assistant for Southwest Airlines, Debt Relief of America, Egistics, Inc. and LuMark Technologies. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs (CCPA) from Southern Methodist University and her Master of Science in International Marketing Management from Boston University. "Kelly is an extremely integral part of our team. She has grown our business over the past five years in ways we had never thought possible. We feel honored to have such an esteemed woman working for our company," said Mario Cuello, CEO, Epygi Technologies. A special feature of the Women of the Channel is in the June issue of CRN magazine and expanded coverage of The 100 Most Powerful Women of the Channel will be featured online at www.crn.com.
