Epygi Launches New Line of QX IP PBXs and Gateways Plano, Texas (September 24) - Last month, Epygi Technologies, Ltd., a worldwide provider of award-winning IP PBX telephone systems and Gateways, unveiled a new line of products at ITEXPO. The new line, named QX, features three IP PBXs and four Gateways. Smaller, more modular and now with metal enclosures, the QX line is completely rack-mountable with the purchase of a Rack Mount Kit. The QX IP PBXs are engineered to service small to medium to enterprise businesses. The QX50, designed for smaller offices of up to 50 users, can support up to 16 concurrent calls. The award-winning QX200 is designed for offices of up to 200 users and supports up to 64 concurrent calls. The QX2000, Epygi's enterprise IP PBX, supports 2,000 users and up to 300 concurrent calls. All three IP PBXs include SIP trunking in order to directly connect to an ITSP and support advanced features such as iQall Mobile Toggling, Barge-In and Automatic Call Distribution. The QXFXO4, one of Epygi's four new QX Gateways, supports four FXO connections and four simultaneous calls. The QXISDN4 sustains four ISDN BRI connections and supports four simultaneous calls. Primarily operating to bridge traditional PBX traffic to the Internet, the QXE1T1 supports 30 and 24 simultaneous calls for E1 and T1 devices respectively. The final product in the QX line is the QXFXS24. This Gateway allows existing analog phones to join the new VoIP network and is equipped with features including a detailed call routing table with digit manipulation options. Integrating all QX Gateways with any QX IP PBX allows the Gateway to then be managed through the IP PBX's GUI. Users can configure one or many Epygi QX Gateways (QXFXO4, QXISDN4, QXE1T1) to share PSTN lines/trunks with the Epygi QX IP PBX (QX50 or QX200). Configuration is almost plug-and-play and when the Gateway registers on the IP PBX, the Gateway's PSTN lines are added to the IP PBX's GUI. In this configuration, the IP PBX plays a role of the "master" device handling the management and SIP signaling, and the Gateways play a role of "slave" devices, terminating the voice traffic. Epygi's QX line of IP PBXs will be available for purchase in October. About Epygi Technologies Read more » | |
