SMS/FAX solution for Epygi

Hi,

I'm looking for a solution for Epygi IP-PBX that let me send SMS from Outlook client. Is that possible? is there a GW that provides this capabilities?

By the way, the SMS function on Epygi ip-pbx is for this? or has another purpose?

Regarding Fax, the fax feature on Epygi is for sending from Outlook?

This is a great feature, and very welcome. I just noticed though that there is no way to dial by extension.

Client has a setup that they wanted
press 1 for X
Press 3 for Y
press 4 for Z

however they wanted to clients to be able to dial extensions directly 201 202, Cant seem to make it happen though the tool.

Ideas?

SNMP Status of ISDN/BRI Lines

I would like to monitor the status of ISDN/BRI lines using SNMP.

Is this possible? I looked at the results of an snmpwalk, and I don't see any MIB variables which seem to represent the status of these lines.

I wonder if Alphatech IPDP02C (Sip Door Phone) is compatible with Epygi Quadro 4L?

I haven't seen nothing related on RN of 4L, but on website of Alphatech it says is compatible, check it here: http://www.alphatechtechnologies.cz/...ion-ipdp-slim/, is this ok? if not, which door phone would you recommend to integrate with Epygi?

Xfer and Caller ID

Hello all,

On the Epygi ML8 using snom 320 and 370 phones, when my users do an attendant Transfer, the Caller ID of the caller doesn't get transferred, only the ID of the internal extension that transferred the call shows. Blind transfer works fine, did i miss a setting? Here is an example.

Call rings in on virtual extension, which ring multiple phones ( caller Id Shows up)
Person answers the phone, places call on hold, calls person the call is for.
If person wants the call, the original person that picked up the call press xfer and hangs up.

Now the person who got the call transfer to them, the caller id only shows the extension of the person who transferred the call to them, it doesn't show the caller id of the person on the line.

IP-PSTN calls from Lync via ML8

Hi ..I don't work with SIP much so bear with me. We have just setup MS Lync and have configured internal PBX calls to work beween one an another. I also have a IP-PSTN line routing through the Epygi to Lync no problems.

However I can't seem to get outbound calls from Lync working. I have simply configured a call route with IP-PSTN details as destination and our Lync server as the source. I keep getting UserNotFound in the logs. Am I barking up the right tree or can't I do it like this?

FXO not found

I have a Quadro4X running 5.3.5

Recently (a few days ago) we seem tro have lost all of the FXO lines.
System Diagniostics/FX tests return
"FXO Tests: Test failed, no active FXO line found Error occured. Test is not completed."

I am away from the office and logging in remotely.
My trusted assistant has connected a std phone and tells me that she can dial out "no problem".

I am setup to dial '9' to get FXO 1
My teleco is XLN

Any help greatly appreciated.

SNOM 370 Always Busy

Hi,

Im hoping someone can help me as I cant see what is happening. We have SNOM 370 that all of a sudden is unable to receive incoming calls but can make outgoing calls fine. Incoming calls go straight to voicemail.

I have checked the IP Line Status and it says that Phone State is ON Hook and that the extension has registered.

Here is the SIP User Agent Log in case it helps :-

106 is the phone I am testing from
225 is the phone that is not working

4x upgrade to 5.3.5 problems after upgrade

anyone else tried the 5.3.5 fw on a 4x and using pots lines?

After we upgraded calls coming in on the pots line (line2, line is now not in use) phones would ring however when we picked up there was no audio and the caller would get a busy signal (I think this may have been the divert from the pots line being busy in the first place, to our sip line, however not sure). We also could make calls out (sip) however the called party got no audio we could here them.

Had to roll back to the old config fairly quickly and willl now have to plan a weekend upgrade a test unless anyone can shed some light?
