Oh Epygi Gods .. please include a Dial "0" feature for the Epygi series in the DEFAULT auto attendant similar functionality to the Dial "0" from the Voice Mail box.

I know you can create a custom A/A and write xml to do just that, I do if I need that feature but, it would be great if you could just Check box Dial "0" to a destination.

This would save a lot of time and also would reduce the management of the Epygi down for standard administrators who might not necessarily know xml or have the inclination to learn it.

Hmmm - just thought of a new value add ... 8 )

I will gladly write anyones xml for money .. paypal accepted :D

Kevin, no need to write a xml script for "0-out". You can enable "Send AA Digits to Routing Table" option and then configure a routing rule with 0+something, as well as any other options you want. Then you need to change the AA greeting to reflect that option :)

Yes sir... unfortunately though it opens a risk of security breach.. by allowing anyone dialling out of the system when you may not want that feature allowable...

Can I have your A/A number :P

You can use CallerID filter on your routing rules, as it is done on my Quadro :p

Have you read the document "Preventing Unauthorized Calls on the Quadro" ?

Having a Dial 0 feature would definitely make it very simple in the A/A table though rather than having to unsecure then resecure the epygi...

Or should I put this to the Distributor and ask them to do so.

Having filters on important routing rules is an important point, because not only "Send AA Digits to Routing Table" option can unsecure your Quadro.

You can try to push this through your Distributor, as I still think that this is so minor to be included into AA config. I can list a lot of such options, that can be included either into the AA config, but that will make AA too complex and we'll start then to choose the options that we can remove from AA.

I've created a poll for this feature request to see if other users are interested in having option. If there will be a significant number of users, then we'll implement that.

Maybe the matter is that not so many people are using "0-out" from AA, also you can always configure a feature like this by using "Send AA Digits to Routing Table" option, which was designed especially for such purposes.
