I believe it would make more sense for the Fail Reason to be a group of check boxes rather than the drop down list. Because I would like to be able to select some and not others.
Thanks.

ThanksMatthew, we will consider that. I cannot promise it will be done (or done soon), but it makes sense, and we'll do it if it's considered important.

BTW, this will not add the whole flexibility. Next you may want to go to different routing entries depending on the fail reason :)

Ok Thanks.

I had a situation recently where I had set the fail reason for calls via my ITSP to "Any" and the number I dialled was busy, so the Quadro then tried dialing the same number via an FXO port (which was in use) so I was receiving the message "Check external lines" or similar. Luckily I understood what was going on, but I believe customers would find this confusing.

After this, I changed the fail reason to network failure - then one day there was DNS problems with our ISP and the STUN feature was not detecting NAT type properly, and so the Quadro was not registering with the ITSP. When I tried to make a call the fail reason was not triggering, and I was repeatedly getting the message "trying to connect, please wait".
So to recap, it would suit to be able to select fail reason as:
System failure
Network failure
and probably Other

but I want
Busy and Wrong Number failures to be reported back to the user.

Thanks.

We already have similar requests from other customers too, so sooner or later we'll implemented that.

Update: this feature will be implemented for 5.1.x versions (supposed to be released in the 3rd quarter of 2008).
