Hey guys.... any chance of making some of your gateway products ( BRI and PRI essentially ) fax server capable.
IE a stand alone modular box that sits before or after the current telephone system or Epygi unit and syphons only those numbers in the call routing table for the DID / MSN number or numbers and emails the result. Any number outside the Fax Server range is passed to the output in the case of a dual Pri server or via the Bri ports being the Bri version .
Why use the Epygi as a fax server, well it has the intelligence already its just a matter of using them in a different way. It would be great to have a way of being able to send faxes via the fax server but it isnt necessary because of the standard run of the mill fax machines being a standard tool in business.
A fax server is necessary as a product to fill the void where multiple faxes are needed to be received concurrently.
Is this dooable ?
Regards
Kevin
