Hi,

When we have incoming calls from our ITSP, the phone number displays as <number>@<ip address of ITSP> and in cases where the incoming caller has concealed there caller id all we see is the ip address of the ITSP.

Is there anyway to remove the IP address of the ITSP from incoming calls, which we feel is confusing for the average user?

Cheers

It depends on whether you are using IP Phones ot FXS (analog) phones with Quadro. For analog phones there is a hidden configuration page, called "generalconfig.cgi", where you can customize the way Caller ID is shown. That is hidden and not documented page mostly for internal usage, so I cangive no guarantees on that, but you can try.

For IP phones, I think, you should be able to configure the caller id presentation from IP phone ittself.

That seems to have done the trick, even on the IP phones.
Thanks.
