Hi
If a can prefence my question with the fact that I am a user rather than a system admin (our reseller has dropped out of supplying/selling Epygi systems) so please keep it simple.

I am running a 4X Firmware Version: 4.0.7FL2/Release

I would like to change my voice mail "greeting file" but when I go to upload the new message it fails with the message "you don't have enough space to upload the file". Clearly this "store" is not the same store as the messages store as clearing the messages doesn't allow me to upload. The help for the page is so unhelpful as mentions this error message but doesn't tell you how to clear the store of my old greeting files (I change the file frequently). Can someone tell me how to delete my old greeting files to create space or, and it might be the best option, tell me how I could just select from my old files as I recycle them on a weekly basis over 4 weeks.

Thanks

Hi, the "store" for VMS greeting file is the same as for voice mails :) If you are still getting "don't have enough space" after deleting all the voice mails on that extension, it means that the file you are trying to upload is bigger than the space allocated for that extension. You can increase that space from Extension Edit page ("Users -> Extensions Managament -> select extension -> press "Edit" -> General Settings -> Percentage of Total memory"), or you can connect a USB stick to the Quadro to have a bigger memory space for voice mails and custom greetings. You can also see the current memory allocation for all extensions on your Quadro on the "System -> Status -> Memory Status" page. Also, your old greeting files aren't kept on Quadro, there are only default greeting file and custom one, which is overwrites once a new greeting is uploaded/recorded.

By the way, the firmware you are using on your Quadro is very old. We strongly recommend you to upgrade your unit to the latest SW version, which is available on our WEB.
