SNOM360 and trunk lines.

Guys,
I'm using a SNOM360 for the receptionists phone. Is it possible to watch the trunk lines from this phone i.e. say I have four ISDN B channels, can lines on the phone light up when they are busy etc.?

I think this feature is not enabled in the current firmware but is coming in a later release early next year....

To be honest paul.. if the customer is worried about getting a line out... you might want to monitor their usage for them and instruct your customer that they need x more lines for the system and then show them the logs to say why...

The Logs are under the Telephone Tab - Call Statistics ..

Now if it is a matter that you want to be able to easily put callers on hold...

Use PARK in the following format ...

Create 3 or 4 PARK positions... under the Users - Extensions Management tab ...
Perhaps use 401 to 404 for this ..

Then on the SNOM handsets if you are using 4.1.33 version of Epygi Software or less program the keys on the SNOM handsets as follows :

Key Type = Extension ( create this for all of the keys as this provides supervisory lights - BLFs )

That code there will place the call into a park position - automatic execution of the PARK facility without having to press the # key at the end ...

Park 4 for the next key

The above allows for monitoring of the PARK slots and allows for easy access.

Paul, that will be possible with Key System Emulation mechanism, that is already implemented and under the testing in our lab. I am not aware about dates - maybe Kevin is right about "early next year" :)
