Increase Login timeout

Wouldn't it be possible to increase the cookie / session timeout for the support section (and forum)? I've written a couple long posts in the past only to find that once I pressed submit, I'd be taken back to the login page and everything I typed was gone.

I'd even go as far to say that if the cookie is there, there should be no relogin. Older vbb or phpbb versions used to be timeout based, but more recent varieties can keep you logged in forever if you keep the cookie in your browser.

I think that as this forum is not open, then there must be login timeout in any case. As for timeout increasing, we are going to change the forum engine verysoon, so there is no sense to improve this one. My suggestion for now - just do not write very long posts :)

Indeed, session timeout is very annoying, but it is done for security reasons. As soon as we get this forum out of "Support Login", we could keep everybody logged in as long is he wants.
