I'm trying to VPN 2 Quadros using in-built PPTP, one Quadro as server
and one Quadro as client. The 2 Quadros have different LAN subnets.

When I tried to start the PPTP client on one of the Quadro, I get the following message:

START CONNECTION
TIME: Fri Jul 7 17:59:18 2006

Using interface ppp0
Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/0
remote negotiated = 0, his mru = 0
local negotiated = 1, want mru = 1000, got mru = 1000
allowed mru = 1000
Remote message: I don't like you. Go 'way.
CHAP authentication failed
Connection terminated.

Connecting using Windows VPN client, for example, to the same hostname on the PPTP server works.

Any ideas?

I would like to remind you that:

1. In the server side as a "Client Host Name" should be the client's host name.
2. In the client side as a "Server Host Name" should be the server's host name.
3. passwords shoud be identical

BTW: Are your Quadros befind the NAT router or they have prublic IP addresses ?

This kind of configuration works using a Quadro E1/T1? This device support?

Thanks,

Hi
No, it's not possible. The VPN feature is disabled on Quadro E1/T1.
Thanks
