Can you please comment on the production run and availability of the M26xi ?
With the end of production of the 4x ISDN variations we have had this product listed by our distributor for months yet there is no ETA to set customer expectations and quote. The fall back solution is the M8L and The QUADROISDN combo. Appreciate any info or insight in what is happening here.

Forget ISDN, If you arent stuck with carriage from Optus / Telstra - look for alternatives.

One of those alternatives Lee, is Voxcom (http://www.kscoms.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=128&Itemid=188), they provide business grade IP trunks across Australia and are definitely worth a look. Their carriage and product offerings I can recommend without hesitation.

To be honest, ISDN is basically dieing, even Telstra have acknowledged that by the introduction of TPIT. do a web search for it. this goes hand in hand for the introduction of the systems that we have from Alloy.

The "M" series of systems allows up to 60 SIP trunks on the wan interface and therefore achievable with the M8L. If you need advice about it, my contact details are below. Now it would be great to find out how we can get the 60 expanded to larger numbers to be honest, but that might be another variation that the lads on the Epygi board room table can work out logistically.

The QuadroM32x has a higher powered CPU compared to the smaller products we have released this year. The new units also only support half the SIP phone capacity compared to the QuadroM32x.

Thanks Warren very useful. Also Kevin take your point on ISDN but in most of our cases we are displacing a legacy PBX. Retaining the same capacity is essential in the transition to then take full advantage of VoIP. If Telstra were to cease existing ISDN this would be different but I have no information of any timeframe for this to happen. If you do please post back here. cheers/ Lee
