QCC alert by mail

Itcould be very nice to receive a mail (and to have a popup)when QCC detects a change of state, it couldreplace an external monitoring tool. I think it doesn'trequire a long developpement and some integrators are waiting for this featureEdited by: ayenacom

Please elaborate on this request. Which states do you mean and when mentioning external monitoring tool, do you mean SNMP tools?

Yes I mean snmp tools; the main feature could be an alert when the quadro or sip provider...can't be reached. Some logs could be report for example "quadro has reboot"...

1) SNMP tool is a different tool and if it is configured on Quadro you can get the reboot and other traps on your desktop.
2) Also, there is "event" tool on Quadro (select "System -> Events" menu item on Quadro GUI) and you can configure that to send e-mail, SMS to mobile, flash the LED, etc.
So, what is the need of duplicating all that on QCC?
