Hold call release on Snom phones

When the switchhook is depressed on a Snom 360 or 320 all calls, including held calls are dropped. If the phone is optioned to not release calls on hang up the only way to hang up is to operate the 'x' key. Operation of the 'x' key does not release calls on hold. Snom phones apparently have no option to permit the switchhook to hang up the active call only.

If you have held call and during second call put your handset on "hook" then Snom is trasfering your held call to the second call. This behaviour is regulated by the "transfer on on-hook" parameter in "Advanced" configuration page ("behaviour" tab) of the Snom phones.
