Can anyone explain why i can't seem to get acces to the support area for downloads etc? I have registered as requested, but when i click login, i get taken to a page with only four options on it, "Register", "News", "Forum" and "Paid Support Plans". Also on this page is a login dialogue box (with me details in it, I click on login and it just brings me back to the same page. If i try the register option again, it wont let me register as my email is already registered.

Where am i going wrong here?

ANy help, much appreciated.

Lee.

Hi Lee,

I find this happens to me when trying to access the support site from a SAIX ADSL account - at home (telkom, mweb ,etc), if i login with an Internet Solutions ADSL account (from my office) i have no issues...

regards,

shaun

Lee, also you'll need to make sure you register at least one Quadro device on your account. Otherwise you will not see some of the support portal options when you log in.

Best regards,
David

Davrays, I did register my quadro, but i still cant get to the support section. When i enter my email and password then click login, it takes me to a page with four options only:

1) register
2) news
3) Forums
4) Paid support options.

On the left of the screen is another login box with my details already entered, when i click login, it returns me to the same page.

Any ideas?

I think Shaun already described above the most probaly reason for such behaviour. I have no idea why this does happen (probably this is specific to the Kayako system used by Epygi for the support portal), but it looks to happen with some internet providers, and specifically with users from South Africa. Most probably this has to do with some content blocked by those ISPs, or with kind of caching used by them.

You would need to connect using differnent ISP - there is not much I could advice here... Or alternatively - try to use anonymiser proxy servers, like "www.vtunnel.com" for example.

Best regards,
David

Guys,

Thank you all for he replys, It's nice to find a forum nowdays that actually posts helpful comments ratherr than just flames you for being an idiot. Anyway, as per usual, you were absolutely right, the problem seems to be with by broadband provider. If i log in from home (Iburst provider) I can't see support section. If i log in from the office (Axxess provider) i go straight in to the full support section. So this one is cleared up apart from the fact that i will now oly be able to get to the support area from the office which is a pain as i work from home most of the time. Never mind,

THanks all again.

Lee.

This issue seems to have been addressed. I can now access full support features from my office & home via internet explorer or firefox.I have made no changes anywhere, so thanks to whoever sorted the problem, i appreciate it.

Sadly the problem persists for those of us who have to use Telkom as an ISP... bummer, but it's not an Epygi forum or a browser problem.

I have a theory on this, but might be best not to say it out loud.. lol
