Question about IP Line licenses : does the 16FXS use the available IP lines on the IpPbx
or is it handled as an external gateway ( as ISDN or FXO gateway ) by the IpPbx

It uses the IP Lines on the IPPBX. The QuadroFXS16 lines are registering on the Quadro PBX, the same way as Snom/Aastra phones, and so each line on FXSGW take one "IP Lline" from PBX.
