From a previous thread - which was wandering off topic.

I said ..I have the incoming ringing all phones although i'm a little surprised that the calls are coming from "anonymouse" - is there a setting I have missed ?
In the FXO lines I have filled in the number field etc .. anything else I need to do or is this normal ?

This should not be the case - if you enabled the Caller ID service from telco, you should see the correct callerID passed to the called phones.
If you open "Telephony"->"Call Statstics" page, do you see the correct caller ID there? If not, then what is shown? (please copy and show here the caller details from the table)
Best regards,
David

I need to clarify this further.
I have 3 FXO lines and a SiP account. Incoming calls to the SiP and FXO3 ring an extension directly and the MERg function does it's job. Phones chirp, weeble and tweeter and I see the caller ID. If however the call is answered by our friendly Auto Assistant (as is the case with FXO1 and 2) and the caller subsequently dials an extension then the caller ID is Anonymouse Anonymouse.

Hope that makes sense.

Stranger and strangerrer - in the call statistics when someone calls FXO3 the calling phone says PSTN3-? in the stats'... when FXO2 is called it says PSTN2-?(00)

FXO3 calls an extension FXO2 is routed by the AA

Calling the SiPgate number displays the incoming callers number (both on the phones and in the stats).

Could this be my provider that is not sending CI ?
A setting on my end ?

Yes (he said to himself) it's working loverly now. The key was to check that the TelCo was sending CLiD in the first place. Which they weren't (despite the fact that it was 'ordered').

So onward and upward ... the AA .....
