we are in contact with a reseller who sells to small hotels. They are interested in installing Quadros in the hotel to enable nearly free international calling.

To do this they need to be able to export the called records in a suitable format to allow a server to consolidate the data and then be able to produce a bill for the customer.

How can we configure a Quadro to send call information out to a server in a format that can turn into a bill?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,

I've not done it myself but I would start looking at AAA and RADIUS - this should allow you (with a suitable server) to collect call accounting information for billing etc

Can anyone fill in more details for us?

Thanks,
Edmund.

We have information on our SUPPORT/DOWNLOAD portal related to RADIUS. You can use open source RADIUS servers with MySQL database (no SW cost) that can store CDR data and also authenticate on a per call basis, if desired.

Check out the portal PDF documents.

Could you point more specifically to which documents please?

Thanks.
