hardware warranty

I'd like to suggest that Epygi put a 5 year hardware warranty on Quadro systems. Another manufacturer, Samsung, does this. I have yet to replace any Quadro hardware in over 2 years. The MTBF of the Quadro must be really high. This appears to be a great benefit to the customer (and is) but Quadro hardware is already so reliable that this warrany should cost almost nothing. Surge protectors could be specified.

A great marketing tool, to a customer this shows great confidence on the part of the manufacturer.

Thank you for the comment. Epygi is very proud of the reliability and MTBF of our solutions. We add an extended warranty option to all of our products a few years back. The extended warranty allows you to extend the one or two year manufacturer warranty, depending on the country, for an additional three years. More detail below.

The small system 3 year extended manufacturer warranty covers the following systems. Quadro 2x, 2xi, 6L, 4Li, FXO Gateway, and ISDN Gateway.

SKU-QUADRO-0760-0200 Medium System Extended Warranty
The medium system 3 year extended manufacturer warranty covers the following systems. Quadro 4x, 4xi, and single E1/T1 Gateway.

SKU-QUADRO-0760-0300 Large System Extended Warranty
The large system 3 year extended manufacturer warranty covers the following systems. Quadro 16x, 16xi, and conference server.

SKU-QUADRO-0760-0400 Rack Mount Extended Warranty
The rack mountable system 3 year extended manufacturer warranty covers the following systems. Quadro 4x RM, 4xi RM, 16x RM, 16xi RM, 32x RM, CS RM, and single/dual E1/T1-RM Gateways.
