to play wav with g.729

I can't to play the Quadro´s files *.wav with codec G.729. I can neither record files wav with codec G. 729 for the autoattendant, there is an error of unknown file.
I need to record a file that recognize Quadro to include it in VXML of the autoattendant. As I do it?

What Quadro wave files do you mean and why you want to record files in G.729? For Auto Attendant you can use the files recorded in G.711 u-law, 8 KHz, 8 bit
