How do I configure X-Lite Softphone

Hi, I'm brazilian, sorry for my englishI use X-lite softphone with quadro16x, but when I receive calls and pickup the "send button", in X-lite show "call estabilished" but the caller hang up!!! Can be codec utilized for X-lite? What are best codec utilized for X-lite?Thank you for all

To use X-Light or eyebeam, you need to specify the following things.


The domain should be the ip of your epigy


use domain proxy and select proxy with the address fo your epigy:5060


on the topology tab,


select use local ip address and use specified server with your epigy p as the server


Select "Manually specfiy range" and enter 5060 and 5071 in the boxes


That will keep you connected.

Hi,
I went thru the the above to set up Xlite.
The x-lite extension is registered on the Quadro 4x but cannot receive or make calls.
The error we get is "incorrect media"
Before the last versions on the Quadro (4.52) it worked fine.
The Xlite on the tech support document is older version - they may update the sw.

Aylon, your problem is probably connected to the codecs list order in Quadro and X-lite. Try to leave the same codecs in the same order both on Qaudro and X-lite.

We are currently working on the document describing the setup of latest X-lite version with Quadro and it will be availabe in our web very soon.

Aylon, I've got an e-mail from Andy, that your problem was really connected to the codecs on X-lite. Can you confirm that ? Is there any other problems with using X-lite with Quadro ?
